Physical Cliff

Cliff_Edge_warningOften times if you follow politics or heck even turn on the news or read the news paper you hear the term fiscal cliff, It’s usually used to scare Americans into supporting some crap agenda by a certain political party. Well today I want to speak about another kind of cliff were headed for if things don’t change soon.  We will call it a Physical Cliff. Our country was once the greatest of all nations, you had freedom, liberty and prosperity just to name a few : all with a bill of rights and our beloved constitution to back it up. Now the very foundation of our country is being chipped away a little at a time by democrats, republicans, celebrities, education systems, TV and pretty much anything that has to do with the government, money, or politics. The main stream news is always talking about a new crisis, and as soon as the money or political gain is gone the story is swept under the rug, They the MSM make huge stories out of nothing like so and so celebrity, got a DUI (of course they seldom mention that they just get scolded a little), or wrecked a car. Very little mention of real news is ever presented. However there is a lot and I mean a LOT going on in the country we live in. Illegal aliens coming across the border just like it was crossing the street bringing diseases, and lice. Taking up more of the few jobs we have left, In some states they have more rights and can live more freely than us the American Citizen. For instance when I got my license, I have to provide proof of residence, an original birth certificate, and prove I was a citizen. Some states are being forced by Federal Law to give them license even If they can’t provide all the documentation.  When enrolling my children in school after a recent move here in Alabama, I had to provide proof of residence by showing a copy of my lease also provide copies of Birth certificates, Social Security Cards, Blue Cards (shot records). If I would have been a illegal alien I would not have had to provide most of that, And if I did not speak English I could receive even more benefits. The state is required by law to provide me with food stamps and TANF, if I told them my immigrant children were hungry, even if I could not prove my income. However if I were to go and try to apply for Food Stamps or TANF or any other Government program I would have to prove who I was, where I live, all my assets, and prove my income. It is truly a sad time when I can get a ticket or fine for fishing without a licence but Illegal Immigrants can flood across the border and reak all kind of destruction,  and be given rewards for it.

The next problem is there are conflicts all across the globe and the United States just has to be involved in every one,  and really not doing anything but stirring up trouble. There is unimaginable mass corruption in our entire system of government, everything from local judiciary courts all the way up to the President of the United States. They insist on controlling every single aspect of our lives. just like the Nazi Germans did. Most people are oblivious to whats going on around them. The information and proof is there written in black and white, if they would care to look or listen.  Local mayors, Police officers, and judges most are corrupt in someway, not just here everywhere.  Every which direction I look just about I see the United States snowballing down a slippery slope, and very few are even trying to stop it.  In fact some of the idiots are encouraging it, and helping to push it along. Everyone wants to blame Obama, and yea he has done his fair share to screw things up what with all his executive actions, but he is to much of a moron to master mind this whole collapse his self, I’m not giving the idiot that much credit.  All Obama is is a Yes Man, Yes i’ll screw the country, Yes I’ll triple gas prices by causing panic and promoting “global awareness” or something.  Yes you too can be appointed to a powerful office. Sure you can poison millions of Americans’ with the food you manufacture. You get what i’m saying.  My point is Obama is just a puppet in the corrupt system money controls everything, If you have the money you have the power simple as that.  There are plenty other people in Washington and all over the United States to blame for the mess this country is in right now, not just Obama. Just to clarify I am not in any way a fan of Obama,  just stating the facts.

Back to the topic of cliffs. I am certain that the United States is headed in the wrong direction, and has almost finished creating  it’s own demise. Picture the United States like a box. Much like the extremely horrible , and terribly scary fiscal cliff, When that fiscal Cliff box is pushed close to the edge closer and closer it falls over and tada ALL National parks close and VA Memorials all across the country close in the blink of an eye,  because lack of funding.  While the government is spending double the money for officers to keep people off the closed property during this time for their own safety, proving that the whole fiscal cliff government shutdown is really a load of BS, and the government really does not shutdown.  The hypothetical physical cliff we are headed toward is far more dangerous. The government keeps pushing our box closer and closer to the edge and eventually we as a country will fall over the side, it would have been to far and be to late to stop it at that point. There would be no way back. However there is still time to stop this from happening to this great country, but it requires everyone to stand up for what is right and push the box back the other direction. You have to stand up and have a voice. Oppose Agenda 21, Oppose Big Government, Oppose Common Core,  Oppose corruption , Oppose GMO poison, Oppose big pharma, Oppose a “New World Order” or a so called “One world Government”, Oppose the “New” Constitution,  Oppose the Forcible and unaffordable  Care Act.

Mandatory Common Core tests in New York just happen to be full of corporate brand names

Fotor042242226Across the state of New York, this year’s Common Core English tests have reportedly featured a slew of brand-name products including iPod, Barbie, Mug Root Beer and Life Savers. For Nike, the tests even conveniently included the shoe company’s ubiquitous slogan: “Just Do It.”

The brands – and apparently even some of their familiar trademark symbols – appeared in tests questions for students ranging from third to eighth grades, reports The Post-Standard of Syracuse.

Over one million students were required to take the tests.

Parents, teachers and school administrators have speculated that the kid-friendly brand names are a new form of product placement.

Education materials behemoth Pearson, which has a $32 million five-year contract to develop New York’s Common Core-related tests, has barred teachers and school officials from disclosing the contents of the tests.

Students and parents are not so barred, though, and many have complained.

“‘Why are they trying to sell me something during the test?’” Long Island mother Deborah Poppe quoted her son as saying, according to Fox News. “He’s bright enough to realize that it was almost like a commercial.”

Poppe said her eighth-grade son was talking about a question about a busboy who didn’t clean up a root beer spill. It wasn’t just any root beer, though. No sir! It was Mug Root Beer, a registered trademark of PepsiCo (current market cap: $129.7 billion).

Another question about the value of taking risks featured the now-hackneyed Nike slogan “Just Do It.”

“I’m sure they could have used a historical figure who took risks and invented things,” observed displeased dad Sam Pirozzolo, also of Staten Island, according to the Daily Mail. “I’m sure they could have found something other than Nike to express their point.”

Pirozzolo has a child in fifth grade.

Nike, one of America’s best known and most heavily advertised companies, boasts a current market cap of $65.01 billion.

A number of baffled and angry New York teachers have anonymously complained about the branding and much else on blogs and websites. (RELATED: Think Common Core class material is bad? Check out the unbelievably AWFUL standardized tests)

Representatives from the New York State Education Department have flatly denied involvement in any novel marketing agreements.

“There are no product placement deals between us, Pearson or anyone else,” Tom Dunn, an Education Department spokesman, told Fox News. “No deals. No money. We use authentic texts. If the author chose to use a brand name in the original, we don’t edit.”

To the credit of Pearson and the named companies, it does seem like an unusually stupid move—even for greedy brand managers.

Bill Gates speaks on “CO2 Reduction” by population control.

Your gonna wanna listen to this all the way to the end.  Are you still for vaccinating your children now. He is one of the big players in pushing vaccines and always has been; he is also a major player on pushing the Common Core agenda. So if anything this video ought to show his true character. I mean he admits that their plan is to kill Americans with vaccines, and healthcare.  I guess the MSM did a pretty good gob covering this one up considering it’s from 2010. But you really need to watch it.

On Wednesday Tracy and Mary Finney of Marietta, Georgia were met by a police officer outside their children’s public school and informed they were trespassing on school property because they opposed the school’s process of testing all children.

The Finneys, whose children attend West Side Elementary School, had decided to opt their children out of Georgia’s state test, the CRCT.

According to Georgia State Department of Education Rules:

(a) Promotion of a student shall be determined as follows.

1. No third grade student shall be promoted to the fourth grade if the student does not achieve grade level on the Criterion-Referenced Competency Test in reading and meet promotion standards and criteria established by the local board of education for the school that the student attends.

2. No fifth grade student shall be promoted to the sixth grade if the student does not achieve grade level on the Criterion-Referenced Competency Test in reading and the Criterion-Referenced Competency Test in mathematics and meet promotion standards and criteria established by the local board of education for the school that the student attends.

3. No eighth grade student shall be promoted to the ninth grade if the student does not achieve grade level on the Criterion-Referenced Competency Test in reading and the Criterion-Referenced Competency Test in mathematics and meet promotion standards and criteria established by the local board of education for the school that the student attends.

“We made the decision to opt our kids out of the CRCT,” Tracy Finney told Breitbart News, “because it has nothing to do with education.”

“The CRCT really boils down to money,” Finney continued. “They use the test scores to ensure Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) for government funding. The CRCT is really for government funding.”

Finney said he and his wife oppose the notion of using five days of testing as a “single snapshot of the entire year.”

“If kids score low on the CRCT, potentially they are placed in lower functioning classes,” Finney said.

“On Monday morning, we wrote a letter to our principal, forwarded to the other district administrators and teachers,” he continued. “We said that we refuse to allow our kids to take this test, and that we wanted them to be provided with other things to do during the test period, so that they were not going to ‘sit and stare.’”

Finney said, however, that he received an email from the assistant superintendent of the district, “telling me he reviewed my letter and that I’m not allowed to opt my children out or refuse testing.”

Finney provided a copy of the letter from Dr. Dayton F. Hibbs, associate superintendent, which reads:

The District must deny your request that your students be exempt from participation in the CRCT or other standardized testing as well as reporting and recording of such scores. Federal and state law mandate the administration of these assessments. It is important for you to understand the potential consequences of electing not to participate in such nationally and state- required assessments. These may include but not be limited to effects on students’ on-time graduation, promotion to next grade level, placement and final subject grades. Please refer to Georgia Department of Education Rule 160-4-2-.11, as related to promotion of students in the third and fifth grades. A copy has been attached for your reference.

You also shared concerns regarding the fifth grade field trip. Fifth grade students that are absent any day during the regular testing window will not be permitted to attend the trip. This is not a punishment, but based upon necessity as the trip is scheduled to begin the day after CRCT testing is complete. Therefore, any necessary makeup testing is likely to conflict with the field trip dates.

“This communication is to inform you that our children… will not be participating in any state or federal standardized test for the remainder of the current school year,” Finney and his wife wrote back. They continued:

We do not want them taking any portion of the CRCT, or any other standardized test (ITBS, MAP, etc.), without our implicit, written permission. In addition to that, neither of our children will be forced, questioned, pressured, or coerced by any teacher or school administrator about our decision to refuse their participation in the CRCT testing, or their rights related to State Standardized Testing without the presence of at least one of their parents.

Furthermore, we ask that no record of these types of tests be part of our children’s permanent file or record, as we do not wish our children to participate in standardized achievement testing for promotion, school ratings (AYP Scoring), or teacher KEYS scores. This includes the recording of data related to our children in, or on, any SLDS database(s).

We are requesting that our children be allowed to complete alternative learning activities at school in lieu of the test, i.e.: read quietly in the library or other non-testing classroom, complete class work, or use the computer lab for work on approved learning websites such as Spelling City. The educational materials that our children complete during the testing times may be collected by a teacher and processed for grades and/or promotional considerations.

To be clear, our children must not be forced to sit in the testing rooms during these times to “sit and stare” as this, in our opinion, is tantamount to solitary confinement.

Finney said the school’s principal, Dr. Karen Smits, agreed to meet with him and his wife early Wednesday morning about their decision to opt their children out of the testing. However, when the parents approached the school for the meeting with Smits, Finney said a police officer walked out of Smits’ office and came over to meet them, informing them that they were considered to be “potentially trespassing” on school property because they were in opposition to the normal school process.

“We have been parents in the school district for 13 years,” said Finney, describing his surprise at the situation of being met by a police officer at the school door, “and now we were trespassing?”

According to Finney, he had a cordial conversation with the police officer, who then arranged for the meeting with Smits. Smits told the parents they would need to bring their children into school after the testing is over but that they would still need to take the test.

“Later on that morning, we then received an email from Dr. Smits telling us our kids would be tested through the make-up test procedure when they came to school later on,” Finney said.

He added that he replied to Smits’ email, stating he and his wife were still in opposition and that his children would not be taking the test, and that they would not be attending school that day.

“Dr. Smits then called us, and we told her, ‘Look, we love this school, and we love you as the principal,’ and that this is not against her personally or the school, but we believe it’s the system that is forcing them to act this way.”

Finney said Smits told him the school district is working on a solution to the problem that will work for the children. However, he told Breitbart News, “I told my kids that if I send you to school tomorrow and they give you a test, refuse it, and call me.”

Breitbart News attempted to contact Smits’ office but received no response.

On Wednesday evening, Finney forwarded to Breitbart News the following email from Hibbs:

Mr. & Mrs. Finney,

MCS has been working very hard to resolve this issue.

If you decide to bring your children to school after the morning testing schedule, they will be welcomed into the school. While we must offer students that miss any sections of the CRCT opportunities to retest, we will consider your recent communications as a documented refusal and your children will resume a regular academic schedule along with their peers that participated in testing earlier in the day.  You were made aware of the potential outcomes of non-participation in state testing in a recent letter you received from my office.

Dr. Smits will work with you to make appropriate arrangements for the upcoming 5th grade field trip.

Dayton Hibbs

Associate Superintendent

“This has made us very happy,” Finney said. “We will be discussing my daughter’s trip with the fifth grade when we walk them into school to sign them in. In speaking to the principal tonight, I am decently confident that she will be allowed to go.”

Finney said he and his wife continue to be concerned about the Common Core issues his children face in addition to these more immediate concerns about the state tests, and they will be addressing these as well.

Meg Norris, an organizer of United Opt-Out Georgia, told Breitbart News she is “shocked” at how the mandates to test children are being enforced in Georgia.

“It’s happening in schools all over Georgia,” Norris said. “Even children who are autistic must be tested.”

“Because of federal mandates, they are putting children through this,” she continued. “One child missed the first day of testing and the entire class was refused ice cream, leading to that child being bullied by his classmates.”

Norris explained that this year is the final year Georgia’s CRCT is to be used. Next year, the test is to be replaced by the Common Core-aligned PARCC assessment.

“They say the CRCT was aligned with Common Core,” she added, “but I don’t see any evidence of that. As far as I can tell they’re teaching using the Common Core standards, but using the old CRCT to test the children.”

Norris, a former teacher, said she taught the Common Core standards for 18 months and could see what it was doing to her students. She added that Common Core has become a major issue in the elections this year.

“I just won’t vote for any politician who supports the Common Core standards,” she said.

Denver changing the rules to hire undocumented immigrants as teachers

Denver public school officials are on a path to be the first school district in the country to hire teachers who were once undocumented and have not yet obtained U.S. citizenship.

The school system is working with the Teach for America program, which strives to bring “people of different backgrounds and experiences into the classroom to enhance learning,” according to the local NBC affiliate, 9NEWS Denver, which added:

“They are not licensed teachers but were issued an alternative license from the State of Colorado to teach. These teachers are currently enrolled in classes to attain their traditional teaching license after one year.”

The district plans to hire undocumented immigrants who have attained deferred-action status, allowed by an Obama executive order to those with no criminal record who were brought to America illegally by their parents.

Alejandro Fuentes Mena, who emigrated from Chile at age 4, now teaches fifth grade in the Denver school system as part of the district’s new immigrant hiring effort.

“These young men and women bring extraordinary talent to our classroom,” Denver schools Superintendent Tom Boasberg said. “We have many, many kids whose stories are like Alejandro’s.”

Not everyone is thrilled with the idea. The Colorado Alliance for Immigration Reform questioned reducing education and certification standards, saying it may do a disservice to students.

“It is unlikely that most of the illegal aliens with Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) status are trained, qualified, and certified as educators,” the group said in a statement. “Indeed, DACA status requires attainment of only a high school diploma or a GED certificate. Using unqualified individuals as ‘educators’ does a tremendous disservice not only to students of all races and nationalities, but to our entire educational system.”

The Denver school system may find out that, sometimes, being first isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be.

“Building the Machine” introduces the public to the Common Core States Standards Initiative (CCSSI) and its effects on our children’s education. The documentary compiles interviews from leading educational experts, including members of the Common Core Validation Committee. Parents, officials, and the American public should be involved in this national decision regardless of their political persuasion.

The Common Core is the largest systemic reform of American public education in recent history. What started as a collaboration between the National Governors Association and the Council of Chief State School Officers to reevaluate and nationalize America’s education standards has become one of the most controversial—and yet, unheard of—issues in the American public.

In 2010, 45 states adopted the Common Core, but according to a May 2013 Gallup Poll, 62% of Americans said they had never heard of the Common Core. Prominent groups and public figures have broken traditional party lines over the issue, leaving many wondering where they should stand.
